Quantum information science and technology (QIST) is a rising multidisciplinary field with promises to revolutionize many fields including cryptography and communications, simulation and material discovery, sensing and new materials, and computing. This is currently challenging engineers, physicists, computer scientists, mathematicians, economists, and policymakers worldwide to push forward, collaborate, and make breakthrough discoveries and new policies. This has prompted many institutions to start offering QIST related courses and programs at the undergraduate levels.

Student Posters & Talks
Q-SITE engages undergraduate students in QIST by inviting researchers and educators from academia and industry to give talks, panels, and tutorials on cutting edge research topics and industry-leading applications. The Q-SITE program is specifically designed to jump start attendees’ quantum curiosity and careers – from the ground up.

MINI CHALLENGES
Come join Q-SITE for its very own mini-hackathon where sponsor companies such as Quantum Village, Classiq and IBM host coding challenges. You will be able to solve these challenges through Saturday night in teams of 2-4, with top submission teams winning awards!
POSTER SESSION AND
STUDENT TALKS
This year, we will be showcasing undergraduate and graduate research work at the conference via two mediums:
(1) poster session
(2) student research talks
We aim for this opportunity to not only exercise young quantum talent but also provide a spotlight for student research projects in this emerging field!
