Program Description

(subject to change and some speakers TBD)

Day 1: Quantum Communication and Security

The focus of Day 1 is on Quantum Communication and Security. Quantum communication is a fascinating field that explores the use of quantum phenomena for secure and efficient transmission of information. Quantum technologies offer unprecedented security measures, as any attempt to eavesdrop on quantum communication can be instantly detected, ensuring the confidentiality of transmitted data. Quantum algorithms, such as Shor's algorithm, also threaten security of RSA encryption in the near future which is used for protecting sensitive data such as emails and financial transactions, making it important for us to explore new resilient encryption protocols.
